A.J. Marshall is a sophomore corner, who in his first year as a Deac, was one of only three true freshmen to see time on the field. Prior to racking up 15 scholarship offers, the 5-11, 180 pound standout athlete had little knowledge of the recruiting game. In fact, before his recruitment began, Marshall had little interest in college football. He shared how things have changed since those days.

Wake Forest's 2010 football recruiting signing class will sign their letters of intent on Wednesday. One of the core cogs of the Wake Forest 2010 recruiting class is Southern Durham cornerback A.J. Marshall. DeaconSports caught up with Marshall on Tuesday evening, less than 12 hours before Marshall was planning to sign his letter of intent.

Kevin Johnson, three-star prospect from River Hill High School in Clarksville, Md., has put together a tremendous senior season through his first six games. The playmaker from West-Metro Baltimore committed to Wake Forest back in August. Johnson talked if his future plans include additional official visits and his relationship with the coaching staff.

A.J. Marshall, Scout.com three-star cornerback from Durham-Southern, committed to Wake Forest in July over several scholarship offers. Marshall has attended two of the Demon Deacons home games this season and has been impressed with their performance. He talked about his senior season and the trips to Winston-Salem.
