Miami University signee Josh Sewell, a strong and athletic 6'5," 200 pound 2G from Louisville (KY) Trinity High School is making a strong case to win the 2010 Kentucky Mr. Basketball award. His team is ranked #10 in the nation and #1 in the state and he is the first player in history to win the MVP of Kentucky's three most prestigious tournaments in one year. .

MU's Charlie Coles produced some of the top wings to ever play in the MAC including Wally Szczerbiak, Nathan Peavy, Danny Horace, Juby Johnson, and 2009 MAC POTY Michael Bramos. With no wings in the stellar 2009 class, MU is wants the right player to fill Miami's biggest need in the 2010 class. Possibly Miami's top target to fill the role as the next great wing for the RedHawks is Josh Sewell.

Now that the season for Josh Sewell has ended, the 6-5, 205 pound SG/SF, is getting serious about his recruiting. One of the top schools on his list is the Miami RedHawks. Midway through this season for Louisville Trinity High School, Sewell was averaging approximately 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists per game.
