SPRING GAME: The Players

THE VANDALS PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES on Spring Camp 2012 Friday night with the annual Silver and Gold Spring Game in the Kibbie Dome. Overall, camp was dominated by Idaho's veteran defense as the Vandal offense was overhauled. Will Bass be a Bearcat?

Ryan Bass and the Dayton Dunbar Wolverines took on the 14th ranked Whitney Young from Illinois. The game showcased several players in front of a sellout crowd at the Flying to the Hoop tournament. But while Whitney Young came in highly ranked, the night belonged to Dunbar as they took out Whitney Young 98-74, in front of Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin and a couple members of his staff.

Cincinnati's Greater Catholic League (GCL) has a reputation for sending quality players to Miami. The next in line to carry on that GCL lineage could be point guard Ryan Bass from Chaminade Julienne. After seven games, the Dayton, Ohio standout is averaging approximately 20 points, 3 steals, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds as a junior for Chaminade Julienne.
