Kenny Adeleke of Hartford scored 17 points and grabbed nine boards to lead Team Five to a 80-74 win over Team Two in the Orlando pre-draft camp. Team Five improved to 1-1, while team Two fell to 0-2 with the loss.

Denham Brown - Ready to Step It Up

Brown arrived with international acclaim and the reputation as a scorer, but his career in Storrs has been somewhat inconsistent. At times his effort was derailed by injury, other times he was done in by a lack of confidence. Yet the 1000-point scorer might hold the key to how many banners this Connecticut team is able to hang this season.

Georgia Tech transfer Ed Nelson picks Connecticut

6-8 sophomore Ed Nelson of Georgia Tech, who was the 2002 ACC Rookie of the Year, has transferred to Connecticut. Nelson averaged 8.1 points and 6.5 rebounds (eighth in the ACC) this season. However, he started only twelve of Tech's 31 games after starting 28 games as a freshman. Nelson played his high school ball at Fort Lauderdale's St. Thomas Aquinas High School, but originally hails from the Boston area. He has family there and was considering Boston College.
