Burns enrolls at San Diego State

Yesterday I wrote that McDonald's All-American Evan Burns of Los Angeles (CA) Fairfax could be headed to San Diego State after his National Letter-of-Intent was voided by UCLA because he did not meet NCAA initial eligibility requirements. Well, it only took one day before the 6-8 forward enrolled at San Diego State. Burns played in the McDonald's HS All-American game at Madison Square Garden and in the Jordan Brand Capital Classic at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C.

Burns released from UCLA; Is SDSU in his future?

McDonald's All-American Evan Burns of Los Angeles (CA) Fairfax will not attend UCLA this fall. His National Letter-of-Intent, which he signed, will be voided by UCLA because he did not meet NCAA initial eligibility requirements. UCLA has a policy of not admitting non- or partial qualifiers, while others schools in the Pac-10 can admit them. Burns played McDonald's HS All-American game at Madison Square Garden and in the Jordan Brand Capital Classic at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C.
