Two Boston College scholarship basketball players - sophomore Johnnie Jackson and freshman Devon Evertsen - have decided to transfer and pursue opportunities to other schools, according to BC head basketball coach Al Skinner.
"St. John's entered Sunday's game
against Boston College as a team in disarray. The two top scorers for the
Red Storm were suspended indefinitely from the team and one player was expelled.
With Willie Shaw dismissed from the team earlier in the season, and
with Tim Doyle having transferred to Northwestern, the home team was
down to eight players, four on scholarship and four without."
