Boise State Clinches First MWC Championship

The blue and orange confetti which dropped from the rafters after Boise State's game with Fresno State tonight told the story--it was another great Bronco victory in one of the best basketball seasons in school history. But the Broncos earned the post-game celebration with a team effort, unselfish play, great second half shooting, and stiff defense, both last night and throughout the season.

Joe Hanstad: Eager To Get Started In Boise

Guard Pulls The Trigger On Boise State Offer

Dickinson HS SG Joe Hanstad (Dickinson, ND) just recently became the first 2011 commitment for Boise State under new Head Coach Leon Rice. ND Guard Joe Hanstad Gets Minnesota Interest

Joe Hanstad, a 6-foot-3 sophomore guard from Dickinson (ND) High, was recently named Gatorade North Dakota Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Hanstad averaged 26.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.9 blocks shots per game. He is playing for the Net Gain AAU program and made a visit to the Minnesota basketball offices Sunday.
