Needing a standout performance to turn its season around, Missouri got just that from Linas Kleiza on Saturday afternoon. The sophomore forward scored a career-high 31 points and added 10 rebounds for his second consecutive double-double in the Tigers' 80-70 win against Nebraska at Mizzou Arena. The win returned the Tigers to .500 in Big 12 play.

Four days after showing the best of what it can be at Oklahoma State, Missouri showed the worst of what it can be in a 74-54 loss at Kansas State on Saturday. The Wildcats outplayed the Tigers in every facet of the game and showed more offensive precision. Mix in defensive inconsistency and it was a disastrous evening for the Tigers.

After a strong effort led to a 10-point loss to Oklahoma State on Tuesday, Missouri continues its travels by visiting Kansas State on Saturday evening. Winners of 10 of their first 11 games, the Wildcats are 10-3 after losing back-to-back Big 12 games in heart-breaking fashion. Missouri will need a strong effort to avoid dropping its first game in Manhattan since 2001.

Riding the momentum of their biggest win of the season, Missouri hosts American on Tuesday evening at Mizzou Arena. American will be the Tigers' final opponent before Big 12 Conference play opens this weekend, so a win would go a long way toward pushing them to success in league play. The Tigers should win, but the Eagles have a few shooters that they must not overlook.

Despite making zero field goals in the final eight minutes, Missouri squeaked out a 63-61 upset win against No. 12 Gonzaga on Thursday night at Mizzou Arena. Jason Conley finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

If it happens once, it can happen again. A year after shocking Indiana in Bloomington with a late 17-0 rally, Missouri turned a similar trick in a 56-53 win at Mizzou Arena on Sunday. After trailing by 17 in the opening moments of the second half, the Tigers found consistency on offense and converted nearly every shot they took in the final 20 minutes.

With neither team able to take control through the first 30 minutes, Missouri let Arkansas take advantage late and suffered a 62-52 loss on Tuesday night at Mizzou Arena. Missouri had its worst shooting night of the year and could not earn the win despite holding the Razorbacks 16 points below their season average.

With its schedule about to get much more difficult, Missouri managed a 70-61 win against Oakland on Saturday. Missouri again shot out to an early lead before squandering most of it before halftime. Thanks to sophomore forward Linas Kleiza's big afternoon, the Tigers had enough to rally for the win in the second half.
