Kleiza powers Tigers to win

Needing a standout performance to turn its season around, Missouri got just that from Linas Kleiza on Saturday afternoon. Threes don't fall at Kansas State, but Tigers do

Four days after showing the best of what it can be at Oklahoma State, Missouri showed the worst of what it can be in a 74-54 loss at Kansas State on Saturday. The Wildcats outplayed the Tigers in every facet of the game and showed more offensive precision. Mix in defensive inconsistency and it was a disastrous evening for the Tigers.

Hoops breakdown: Kansas State

After a strong effort led to a 10-point loss to Oklahoma State on Tuesday, Missouri continues its travels by visiting Kansas State on Saturday evening. Winners of 10 of their first 11 games, the Wildcats are 10-3 after losing back-to-back Big 12 games in heart-breaking fashion. Missouri will need a strong effort to avoid dropping its first game in Manhattan since 2001.

Hoops breakdown: American

American will be the Tigers' final opponent before Big 12 Conference play opens this weekend, so a win would go a long way toward pushing them to success in league play. The Tigers should win, but the Eagles have a few shooters that they must not overlook.

Late Tiger comeback shocks Hoosiers

If it happens once, it can happen again. A year after shocking Indiana in Bloomington with a late 17-0 rally, Missouri turned a similar trick in a 56-53 win at Mizzou Arena on Sunday. After trailing by 17 in the opening moments of the second half, the Tigers found consistency on offense and converted nearly every shot they took in the final 20 minutes.

Kleiza leads Tigers past Oakland

With its schedule about to get much more difficult, Missouri managed a 70-61 win against Oakland on Saturday. Missouri again shot out to an early lead before squandering most of it before halftime. Thanks to sophomore forward Linas Kleiza's big afternoon, the Tigers had enough to rally for the win in the second half.
