The New Orleans Pelicans 2-game West Coast swing to start the NBA season ended with less than stellar results. In Game One vs the Warriors, MVP Steph Curry instantly became a 1st-ballot Hall of Famer. Game Two was even worse...Blazers guard CJ McCollum went from rotation player to an All-Star candidate with his 37-point performance. No Tyreke, no Norris & barely any Jrue left the Pels without any backcourt defense. However, they just brought back a familiar friend who will hopefully change that

Outmanned Pels Drop Season Opener

Going into the New Orleans Pelicans season opener Tuesday night, fans knew the team would already be without 3 starters & two key players off the bench. That's bad enough, but the news got worse as it was announced that All-Star guard Jrue Holiday would also miss the game with his chronic, never-ending leg injury. Even with only 9 players in uniform, & Anthony Davis having one of his worst games as a pro, the team hung tough for a half, but it wasn't enough against the reigning NBA Champions.
