For the last few years the ASU offense has been playing catch-up with its defense. While both sides possess plenty of athleticism, the offense hasn't been able to put it together enough to take advantage of winnable situations the defense has put them in.

In sports, as in life, expectations occasionally cause more harm than good, and for wide receiver George Bell, not meeting those expectations in his first year at ASU was a tough pill to swallow. After catching only nine passes for 84 yards in his first season, Bell has been determined to make up for a season, individually, that wasn't up to the standards he set for himself.

His comfort level with the Sun Devil program increased even more during his recruitment with the maroon and gold. His unofficial visit to Tempe yesterday cemented those feelings and led to his verbal commitment. Devils Digest spoke to him about his decision.
