Spring practice ends, so do a few careers

Spring practice wrapped up Thursday night under the lights. Although the players were in shorts and shoulder pads, they worked hard. The coaches did not send off the team for the summer with an easy practice. The Cats had a lot thrown at them and went at it. There were also several announcements made about injured players.

Huskies squeak by Wildcats

Reggie Williams took a 10-yard Cody Pickett pass and turned it into an 80-yard touchdown with just over two minutes remaining in the game to give the Washington Huskies a 32-28 Pac-10 conference victory over a very game Arizona Wildcats team this afternoon in Husky Stadium. Washington improves to 1-1 in the Pac-10 while Arizona drops to 0-2.
