MadFriars Daily Farm Report: May 22

Monday was a dreary day in the Padres’ system as all four teams found the loss column. However, there were still several noteworthy news items throughout the system to get caught up on. El Paso and San Antonio both dropped very early day games, while the Storm lost their series finale in Stockton. The TinCaps lost big on the road in Michigan, spoiling the Low-A debut of Reggie Lawson.

Thursday was a clean sweep in the Padres’ organization -- and not in a good way as all four squads in action lost. El Paso started a road trip in Salt Lake City and were blown out. The Missions lost a lead in the late innings at home and the Storm dropped the rubber game of their series against Visalia. Fort Wayne returned home after a seven-game trip and were defeated by South Bend.
