September 2, 2012
Not a pleasant night as five of the Padres' affiliates go down. The sixth, the AZL Padres, had the night off. Still some good performances in Lake Elsinore at the plate as former top 2009 draft pick Everett Williams continues his hot streak and the organization may have found a diamond in the rough from Utah State College in the twenty-seventh round of the 2012 draft.
The Emeralds get a dramatic walk-off home run and Cody Decker is crushing it in San Antonio. The Storm end up on the other side of a late inning rally and the TinCaps get another solid outing from a small lefty.
Andrew Cashner looked good in San Antonio but a really tough night for big Matt Lollis. Tucson loses another one late and Roach keeps rollin' in Lake Elsinore.
