Senior Jon Peattie is third on UM's all-time list with 52 career field goals made. His 272 points is the most amongst NCAA active players. Peattie took time to discuss football and his time in Europe.
All of the coaching changes that took place in the previous offseason do not just affect the offensive and defensive teams, the changes are also being felt on special teams.
Kicker Jon Peattie made 15-of-24 field goals last year and all 45 of his extra point attempts. This year he looks forward to improving on his numbers and likes what he sees with the team.
Jon Peattie is entering his third season as the team's kicker. In his career he has made 35-of-50 field goal attempts and has hit all 79 of his extra points. He currently ranks seventh on Miami's all-time field goal list and could move to second by the end of the 2005 season.
Kicker Jon Peattie suffered a hamstring injury at the end of the first half against Florida State in the season opener. He has played through the pain and now he feels completely healthy once again. The bye week helped players like Peattie regain their strength for the rest of the season. Miami hosts #17 Louisville tonight at 7:30 in the Orange Bowl.
