PULLMAN -- Isaac Dotson hits hard, flies to the ball and is a member of the most menacing unit on the field: the safeties. Off the field, he wears a perpetual smile and is a self-taught musician. Those two sentences may seem to juxtapose one another, but the redshirt sophomore is indeed all of those things.

PULLMAN -- The Cougs return three-fourths of their starting linebacking unit in 2013. The squad thrived at times last season in Mike Breske's blitz-happy scheme, but they weren't always consistent. That consistency level should tick upwards in 2013. And perhaps the biggest question of all – just how good can Darryl Monroe 2.0 possibly be?
