At this point, the Fighting Illini basketball team is bringing in only one new player for next year, point guard Michael Orris. But there may be more help on the way in the person of Devin Langford. The Alabama product is redshirting due to multiple injuries this year, but his skill level and long-term potential are excellent.

Langford Eager To Sign On Dotted Line

Devin Langford has been the fifth commitment for the Illini 2011 Class since December, but this is the first week he can make it official. He is the lone prospect outside of the state in this class and a wing the Illini staff likes. He is excited finally to make his commitment official.

Devin Langford Commits to Fighting Illini

It is finally official. Huntsville, Alabama, combo guard Devin Langford confirmed today what he has been saying for awhile now. He is committed to attend the University of Illinois on a basketball scholarship. The Illini have one of the top ten recruiting classes in the country enrolling next fall, one player for each of the five positions.
