The way the New Orleans Saints defense has been playing the last 4 years, it's almost impossible to believe 2013 even happened. How does a team that gave up the MOST YARDS IN HISTORY in 2012 (440 ypg), jump from the very worst in NFL all the way up to 4th best (only 305 ypg)? TO CATCH A THIEF

With all the rumors swirling around the Saints franchise these days, you'd think it couldn't get any crazier. Well, this weekend it just did. Long time Sean Payton confidante & Saints linebacker coach Joe Vitt was seriously injured while running. Was he working out at practice? Leisurely jog around the neighborhood? Hardly. Joe Vitt issues a statement

New Orleans Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt has denied that an allegation that he offered $5,000 for anyone who knocked out Brett Favre during the NFC championship game two years ago. Suspended for the first six games, Vitt has even offered to take a lie detector test to prove his innocence for "Bountygate."
