Alabama’s chances to win tonight against Ole Miss seemed bleak. Retin Obasohan was whistled for a second personal foul at the 15:45 mark of the opening half. Shortly thereafter the one-man show wearing no. 32 for the crimson and white was relegated to the bench. All season long the Tide’s effectiveness was a function of his performance.

Alabama (14-8, 4-5) earned its fourth Southeastern Conference win Wednesday with a 62-49 victory over visiting Missouri (7-15, 1-8). A decisive 24 to 9 edge at the free throw line proved to be the difference for the Tide. Three players scored in double figures for the home team.

Shannon Hale is a 6'7", 205 pound sure-handed forward currently attending the Christ School (Arden, NC). Jimmie Taylor, a 6'9", 215 pound defensive-minded center, roams the paint for Greensboro High School (AL).
