NBA Draft looms, Lacy's thoughts with Elson

DaVONTE LACY WILL be tuning in for the NBA Draft on Thursday to see if his name gets called. Whether that happens or not, the next few weeks figure to be huge when it comes to determining his basketball future. Still, when we talked to him less than 48 hours before the draft, he seemed most interested in talking about Elson Floyd, who lost his battle with cancer on Saturday.

YAKIMA — All six members of Washington State’s incoming basketball recruiting class will be in Pullman to start school in the six-week summer session that begins June 22, coach Ernie Kent tells He also says the NCAA's new rule reducing the shot clock to 30 seconds from 35 is "not going to affect us at all -- we get down the floor as fast as possible."
