MadFriars Daily Farm Report: August 25

The Missions won again, getting an extra innings win at home. The good vibes stopped there, as every other team to suit up Thursday lost. The Chihuahuas and TinCaps were both shutout, while the Storm and AZL Padres each allowed 12 runs in blowout losses.

MadFriars Daily Farm Report: July 28

The Chihuahuas played two in the Pacific Northwest, splitting a doubleheader with the Mariners’ top farm team. The Missions and Storm both lost, while Fort Wayne rode their pitching to a win. The Dust Devils one-hit Spokane and the AZL Padres lost in Marysville.

Thursday was a rough day in the Padres’ system as most of the clubs ended up in the loss column. El Paso went down on the road, Fort Wayne went down at home and the Storm blew a big lead on the road, losing in Stockton. San Antonio and Tri-City found the win column while the AZL Padres wilted in the heat of Mesa.

MadFriars Daily Farm Report: April 14

Thursday night saw the Lake Elsinore Storm return home after playing their first seven games on the road. Unfortunately, the bats were cold and the Storm dropped their home opener. San Antonio rode excellent pitching to a shutout win while the TinCaps continued to rack up runs in the Midwest League. In the Pacific Coast League, El Paso couldn’t get the bats going and lost again in Tacoma.

All four full-season teams were in action on the first Monday of the minor league season. The TinCaps opened a road trip with a win while San Antonio was blown out at home. The Storm won their series opener in picturesque Adelanto, California and the Chihuahuas were bested in the Pacific Northwest.
