EL PASO - The Chihuahuas played a pair on Saturday night to make up for last night’s rain out.
The MLB Draft has concluded, and it’s back to business as usual in the Padres’ system. The Chihuahuas feasted on a former Padres’ icon, while Justin Hancock had an outing to forget for San Antonio.
El Paso melts down in the seventh while San Antonio can't catch any breaks on the road. Lake Elsinore wins a wild one and the TinCaps have now won three games in less than twenty hours.
El Paso and Lake Elsinore lose big but Colin Rea twirls a gem in Tulsa. In-climate in the Midwest League takes out game number three for Fort Wayne on the road.
Synopsis: The Padres will send a deep and seasoned team which should do better than last year’s squad to the Sun City. Outfielder Rymer Liriano and catcher Austin Hedges will be the top prospects and the team will feature some strong veteran bats in Cody Decker, Tommy Medica and Jake Goebbert.
