Aaron Nola and Zach Eflin are already on the disabled list and on Wednesday, Jeremy Hellickson left the field holding his back. Nola's spot has been filled, but the Phillies will need two more pitchers from Lehigh Valley if they're going to bring their rotation back to full strength.

David Buchanan has suddenly turned in three good starts since the All-Star Break, with two of them coming in the last week. Those two outings got him noticed by the International League.
Sometimes, a few days off can be good for the soul; and the arm. David Buchanan threw his second straight impressive outing since the all-star break for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs Tuesday night in their 4-1 win over Indianapolis.
Before Charlie Morton even hobbled his way back to the dugout Saturday night after suffering a hamstring injury in Milwaukee, the speculation about who would be taking his roster spot started. In somewhat of a surprise, the choice for now is Luis Garcia.
Each year, the Reading Fightin' Phils and Lehigh Valley IronPigs square off in an exhibition game to benefit charity. Near freezing temperatures greeted the players and fans this year, but the Fightins continued their dominance of their Triple-A brethren.
The Phillies continued to send players out of major league camp on Tuesday, with both Alec Asher and David Buchanan being optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Neither was expected to make the major league roster out of spring training.
