Matt Wisler got his first victory in AAA and the Missions' offense rebounded with an 8-0 pasting of the Naturals. Lake Elsinore won its second straight game in extra innings and Fort Wayne put 14 runs on the board for an organization clean sweep.

Matt Branham was stellar for Elsinore, striking out 10 over six innings. San Antonio erupted for 12 early runs and cruised. Tucson dropped a pair and Eugene's winning streak was stopped.
Quality performances by three young pitchers - Robbie Erlin, Donn Roach and Brad Boxberger who were all brought over in trades. But the big story may be the accumulation of quality young arms in Fort Wayne led this month by Adys Portillo and Matt Wisler.
