Tom Allison on Draft Sleepers

Arizona Diamondbacks scouting director Tom Allison has a terrific track record of selecting high-quality prospects in the mid-to-late rounds of the draft. A small sampling of his success stories include Ryan Wheeler (5th round), Paul Goldschmidt (8th), Josh Collmenter (15th), Tom Layne (26th), and Jake Elmore (34th). Osprey Win Home Opener 9-8

The Missoula Osprey used a four-RBI night from left fielder Chris Jarrett and solid pitching from their bullpen to open the 2010 home schedule in style, getting a 9-8 win over the Billings Mustangs on Friday in front of 2,862 fans at Ogren Park Allegiance Field.
