Osprey Crank Out 19 Hits

The Missoula Osprey collected a season-high 19 hits, including four by Roberto Rodriguez, as they beat the great Falls Voyagers, 9-5 on Sunday. Bobby Stone had three knocks, and his two RBI set a Missoula record for most RBI in a career.

Osprey Win Home Opener 9-8

The Missoula Osprey used a four-RBI night from left fielder Chris Jarrett and solid pitching from their bullpen to open the 2010 home schedule in style, getting a 9-8 win over the Billings Mustangs on Friday in front of 2,862 fans at Ogren Park Allegiance Field.

2010 Missoula Osprey Preview

The Missoula Osprey lost their first game of the season in the bottom of the ninth, marling the tenth straight year in which they lost their season opener. That initial setback did not stop the Osprey from making the playoffs last season, however, and a talented roster gives them an opportunity to repeat that success again in 2010.
