This Week in Cougar Baseball

FINAL EXAMS TAKE place this week at Washington State, but WSU baseball players still cling to the faint hope that their final tests on the diamond won't take place until next month. This Week in Cougar Baseball

WSU has played eight consecutive games decided by one or two runs, and 15 of the past 16 games have been that close. Only four of Washington State's 21 games have been decided by more than two runs.

Cougs' Monda not your typical baseball player

PULLMAN -- Take the money and run. Read every story that mentions you and search for your name in the headlines. Be outspoken. These are attributes often seen in college baseball players. But the Cougs' Jason Monda is not your typical college baseball student-athlete.
