Saying Bobby Wolford was shocked to receive an offer from Coach Mendenhall would be an understatement. Saying he committed to BYU because of its great football tradition would also be understating his reasons for choosing to be a Cougar. The Florida linebacker committed to BYU so he could become a better Catholic and represent something greater than just football.
