For the final rankings, as a special treat, we've also pored through all of our notes and have come up with 50 additional teams to rank, which took our list down to an even 100.

We thought the deeper rounds of the playoffs would result in a lot of changes this week. Not so. Only two of our teams from last week's FAB 50 lost and have been replaced. Either that was just the calm before the storm or maybe we know what we're doing when we include a team in our national rankings.

Los Angeles (CA) Fairfax defeated Seattle (WA) Franklin 63–56 in overtime to win the Iolani Classic in Hawaii. Franklin had made it to the finals by beating USA Today's #2 Miami Christian in double OT 103-90. Franklin led 42-32 after three quarters. However, the Lions roared back and it took Franklin's Aaron Brooks layup with 13 seconds left to force overtime. Jamal Boykin led Fairfax with 20 and MVP Kevin Bell added 16 points, 14 in the second half.

6-6 small forward Bobby Nash of Honolulu (HI) Iolani has committed to Hawaii as expected. His father, Bob Nash, is in his 15th season as UH's associate head coach and was the starting power forward on UH's legendary "Fabulous Five" team of the early 1970s, and still holds many of the program's rebounding records. He was considering UNLV, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Baylor and is College Basketball News' top player from the state of Hawaii.
