While his more ballyhooed teammates Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Corey Brewer can spend their spare time counting their money, former Gator Chris Richard still has work to do. Richard, like Taurean Green was a second round pick and has some work to do to make the Minnesota Timberwolves' roster.

Two years ago there were snickers galore when Lakeland Kathleen's Chris Richard was chosen Mr. Basketball in Florida ahead of Orlando Edgewater star Darius Washington. Many believed the award was given due to the fact that Richard had already cast his lot with the University of Florida.
