A career performance from sophomore Dan Fitzgerald propelled Marquette over DePaul 62-47 at the Bradley Center Wednesday night. The Golden Eagles' utility man came off the bench for a season high 30 minutes and put up a career high 18 points by shooting 6-of-7 from the perimeter.

Dan Fitzgerald, a 6-foot-8 freshman forward who recently left Tulane, has received plenty of contact from schools. Fitzgerald averaged 4.2 points in 14.8 minutes per game as a freshman for the Green Wave and was given his release last Friday.
