Shakur and Wise named to international team

Two future Wildcat point guards will represent Team USA in the Global Games. Wildcat signee Mustafa Shakur has been named to the team and Nic Wise, who has verbally committed to Arizona, was named an alternate to the squad that will play in the international tournament to be held June 29th-July 5th on the Campus of Southern Methodist University.

Cartier Martin narrows list of schools to two

6-7 forward Cartier Martin of Aldine (TX) Nimitz has narrowed his list of schools to two, Texas and Kansas State, according to the Kansas City Star. He eliminated fellow Big 12 school Oklahoma and Oklahoma State from his list of colleges. Martin will visit Kansas State this weekend, ironically the Wildcats face Texas in football on Saturday.
