Mansel Simmons officially a Cougar

THE PAPERWORK IS complete, his Letter of Intent has been signed off on and as WSU stated in a release late Thursday afternoon, Mansel Simmons is now officially in the crimson fold. Simmons, (6-5, 231), out of Sheldon High in Sacramento got serious looks by college recruiters for his basketball talents. But he'll be taking that athleticism and leaping ability with him to the gridiron.

BREAKING: Cougs land ‘relentless' JC DE

HE LED HIS junior college with nine quarterback hurries as a true freshman in '09. He is, says the offensive tackle who has gone against him most every practice the last two years, simply relentless. This weekend, he went crimson, adding to Washington State's ever growing Poly pipeline. Indeed, Paul Wulff's 2011 class alone now features four future Cougars of Polynesian descent.
