Gonzaga, Cal Won't Slip Much, If At All

Adam Morrison has bid adieu to Gonzaga and Leon Powe may have played his final game for Cal. But don't make the mistake of thinking that means that the Bulldogs and Golden Bears will have to struggle to get into the NCAA Tournament next March.

Plus/Minus - Cal vs. UCLA

When California rallied from 16 down in the first half to come within one point of UCLA in the second half, it looked like Friday night all over again. Roy's 27 paced UW to a 73-62 win over the Golden Bears Sunday at Hec Ed.

Dawg Blog - California

Well, the Washington Huskies had a chance to take over the Pac-10 lead in men's basketball Sunday, but UCLA's win over Oregon has the hoop dawgs looking squarely at second place all by themselves. To do that, they'll need to produce the same kind of workmanlike win over the Cal Golden Bears that they did over Stanford on Thursday. Onto the game!

Bears hold off Huskies

In a game of runs, the California Golden Bears did not make a field goal in the last 5:58 of the game. But they were able to withstand a Washington run late by scoring their last nine points via the free-throw line en route to a 71-69 win over the the No.10-ranked Huskies Thursday at Haas Pavilion.
