6-10 Ousmane Konate of Laurinburg (NC) Institute has de-committed from Missouri. The Senegal native was a member of the Laurinburg Institute team last season, but will play a fifth on the post grad team that is coached by Chris Chaney. He suffered a broken bone in his foot at last January's Dell Curry Shootout. Konate is a 6-10 forward who is now up to 270 pounds. However, he is expected to play small forward with longar Longar and Jackie Butler joining him in the frontcourt next year.

Laurinburg (NC) Prep is annually one of the country's top prep teams and this upcoming season should be no exception as they may have more talent than ever. They finished 40-2 and will add a who's who of high school talent to their rosters. Laurinburg also has a deep and talented high school team. They will be the first prep school team to ever play at the Slam Dunk to the Beach. They will also appear at the War on the Shore and may return to the Timberwolves Shootout at the Target Center.
