End of Year Press Conference Notes & Video

SEATTLE - Lorenzo Romar spoke Monday with the media after Washington bowed out of the first round of the NIT to BYU in Provo, Utah last Saturday. The Huskies finished their season 18-16 overall, including 9-9 in Pac-12 play, good enough for a sixth place conference finish. They were 11-7 at home, 5-7 away and 2-2 on neutral courts.

Resilient Huskies Beat Zaragoza In OT, 74-73

ZARAGOZA, Spain - Shawn Kemp hit a six-foot jump hook as the shot clock was expiring with 20 seconds left in overtime to cap a furious rally and push Washington to a 74-73 win over Zaragoza at Pricipe Felipe Pavilion on Wednesday. The Huskies improved to 2-0 in their 16-day foreign tour, but needed a prayer to be answered to get that second win.
