THE BEAVER NATION and Keith Robertson have been waiting for what seems like forever for the Lake Oswego defensive end to arrive in Corvallis. The waiting, Robertson tells BeaverFootball.com, has officially come to an end. Both Robertson and RB Andres Reed have joined the OSU program and not only that, they'll take part in the Beavs' spring ball session that begins less than two weeks from today.

The biggest news on the defensive line was their new coach Joe Seumalo. He immediately connected with his players and his tenacity for fundamentals is just what the line needed. Seumalo also brings playing experience from the college ranks, which the players respect and appreciate. Similar to what the offensive line does, the defensive line was often times in the corner working on their body position and hand placement over and over again.

KEITH ROBERTSON says he's coming to Oregon State in 2006, although Arizona and Oregon have let the 6-3, 245-pound pass rushing specialist know they remain interested in his services. He may have taken the longer road to Corvallis, but he learned a ton along the way. The defensive end is the eleventh known verbal in the OSU class of 2006.
