Tre Griffin talks status of commitment

Tre Griffin, currently in his senior season at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga., has been committed to the Vanderbilt football program since April. He was the first commitment in the class of 2012 for the new coaching staff headed by James Franklin. He confirmed his pledge to Vanderbilt, but may be looking at other options.

Griffin talks commit to Vanderbilt

Tre Griffin is a talented junior DE/LB prospect from North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, GA. The 6-1.5, 235 pound prospect received his first offer from Vanderbilt not too long ago and decided to commit to the Commodores earlier this week. He also received interest from schools such as Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, South Carolina, and Purdue.
