Back in the middle of May, former Louisville shooting guard Lorenzo Wade was set on transferring from UL to Washington. Friday, the tables were turned on the Huskies, as Wade - citing personal issues - told Dawgman.com that he will not be stepping foot on campus at Montlake this fall.

Little did Lorenzo Romar know at the time that a Cardinal player - Lorenzo Wade - would be switching sides. Friday, Wade spoke to Dawgman.com to confirm his intentions on becoming a Husky.

When the Louisville Cardinals downed the Washington Huskies in the Sweet 16 in March, one player who saw limited action was then-UL freshman guard Lorenzo Wade. The young man from Las Vegas has been well-traveled over the last two years, attending Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., then heading to Louisville last year. Now he is hitting the recruiting circuit this spring, hoping to garner interest from programs looking for a 6-foot-6 shooting guard.

Packing up and moving on is not a new thing for Las Vegas native Lorenzo Wade. But his decision to transfer out of the University of Louisville's basketball program did come as somewhat of a surprise. The 6-foot-5 wing talked to Dawgman.com Wednesday about his decision to start over and what that means for the University of Washington, who recruited Wade out of high school.
