Ducks Hold Practice in Portland

PORTLAND, ORE. -- The Oregon Ducks traveled to Jesuit High School in Portland on Saturday to hold practice on April 15. Over a thousand fans attended the controlled scrimmage that consisted of conditioning drills capped off by a situational scrimmage that allowed both the offense and defense to run through some basic plays and defensive schemes.

The Oregon Ducks began the second week of spring workouts with a guest – Heisman Trophy Winner Marcus Mariota who gave a pep talk to the 2018 squad. While the workout continued, Head Coach Willie Taggart spoke to reporters and talked about star running back Royce Freeman.

CORVALLIS, ORE, -- After a come from behind win to beat Utah last week, the Oregon Ducks hoped to extend an eight game winning streak over in-state rival, Oregon State Beavers, but the Ducks came up short and lost 34-24 at Reser Stadium in Corvallis.

Oregon Shocks Utah, 30-28

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – The underdog Oregon Ducks (4-7, 2-6) pulled the shocker of the Pac-12 season by knocking off the No. 11 Utah Utes (8-3, 5-3) in front of a stunned home crowd of 46,327, the tenth largest crowd in the history of Rice-Eccles Stadium. Justin Herbert engineered a game winning drive that gave the Ducks the win with only 2 seconds left on the game clock.
