MadFriars Daily Farm Report: July 30

The Padres had multiple system debuts Saturday as the full-season clubs all won, but not so much for the short-season teams. A quartet of Preller trade acquisitions dealt nicely, but a late collapse by Tri-City cost Hansel Rodriguez a win in his first time toeing the rubber in the organization.

Monday was a light night in the Padres’ system, as only El Paso and Lake Elsinore played. The Chihuahuas beat up on the Grizzlies in Fresno while the Storm lost at home. There were plenty of roster moves throughout the system and which we will go over momentarily.

MadFriars Daily Farm Report: April 14

Thursday night saw the Lake Elsinore Storm return home after playing their first seven games on the road. Unfortunately, the bats were cold and the Storm dropped their home opener. San Antonio rode excellent pitching to a shutout win while the TinCaps continued to rack up runs in the Midwest League. In the Pacific Coast League, El Paso couldn’t get the bats going and lost again in Tacoma.

MadFriars' Daily Farm Report: April 7th

After a long off-season, the minor league season is finally underway! All of the Padres’ full-season squads made their 2016 debut on Thursday night. El Paso went down on the road while San Antonio lost their home opener. The Storm came out swinging and won in Rancho while the TinCaps lost a heartbreaker in the bitter cold.
