The Buffs practiced for two hours beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday. The reason for the early start was because Saturday also marked the first day of final exams at the university, and several players were scheduled to take finals later in the day. Inside, notes from the practice.

Harrison's Move Inside Has Been A Good One

Midway through the 2007 season, fifth-year senior Edwin Harrison changed positions. His coach, Jeff Grimes, said Harrison's move from tackle to guard has helped bolster the Buffs' offensive line, particularly in the run game. A strong run game will be key if the Buffs are to beat the visiting Missouri Tigers on Saturday.

Finishing Focus of Summer Workouts

In 2006, the Colorado Buffaloes went into the fourth quarter of six games within seven points of their opponent. Each time they lost the game. One of the goals in this summer's strength and conditioning program was to learn how to finish. The ultimate proof will come a few months from now, but by all accounts, the team's summer was productive.
