Scout.com spoke recently with Marquin Russell, a 6-foot, 185-pound athlete from Lakes High School in Lakewood, Wash., and while Russell is a very good football player, he's known in the state of Washington for his ability on the oval. Russell is the returning 3A 400 meters champ, and he is hoping to take his two-sport talents with him to the next level.

It's not a long trip down Interstate 5 to Lakewood, a suburb south of Tacoma, Wash. to find one of the most talent-rich high school football programs on the west coast - Lakes. Head Coach Dave Miller has been churning out the recruits for years and years, having two for the 2012 class - Zach Banner and Ced Dozier - who signed with Pac-12 teams.

The Gators were on a four-game winning streak heading into their last home game with Lakes, but you'd never know it by the score. The 61-0 final included a running clock that actually started at some point during the second quarter, as the Lancers built up a 54-0 lead and coasted from there.
