ON THURSDAY NIGHTS, WSU hits the practice field for it’s traditional Thursday Night Football where members of the scout team put on a show and get some good reps in. PULLMAN – Tuesday's Washington State practice featured the return of nickel back Isaac Dotson, who hasn't been seen since Sept. 15. Though Dotson was limited during the two-hour workout, defensive coordinator said it nice to see the sophomore defensive back get a few reps. Dotson is listed as the starting nickel for Saturday's game at Cal, so we'll see if he can go from non-contact penny to making an impact against the Bears.

PULLMAN -- Game predictions were high. Expectations for the Mike Leach's 2015 season, his fourth at Washington State were even higher. Those were all left to smolder in what became a dumpster fire Saturday at Martin Stadium when the Cougars blew a 10-point halftime lead and lost to FCS Portland State 24-17.

PULLMAN -- If it's Thursday, it's time for Thursday Night Football at Cougar practice. Tyler Hilinski took the bulk of the quarterback snaps, while cornerback Treshon Broughton got some reps in his first real scrimmage work. But as one Cougar assistant coach noted, the tackling left something to be desired.
