Over the weekend, the Husky coaching staff played host to two important in-state recruits. One of them, Interlake (Bellevue, Wa.) WR Ryan Turman, spoke with Dawgman.com shortly after returning home and said he and his friend, Bellevue (Wa.) LB Myles Jack, were both blown away by the experience and that, if he wasn't committed to Washington already, he would have committed this weekend...

Dawgman.com spoke Sunday with Interlake athlete Ryan Turman, who talked in-depth about a recent unofficial visit to Washington that helped solidify his choice to walk-on and play for the Huskies next year as a receiver. While the rest of us were enjoying a holiday with friends and family, the Huskies were getting ready for the Apple Cup - and Turman got a chance to see it up close and personal.

Ryan Turman didn't know much about recruiting at all until he met Myles Jack. Jack, the coveted athlete from Bellevue, had become friends with Turman even though Ryan wasn't a teammate. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound Turman went to Interlake High School, but that didn't stop the two from becoming friends.
