IDAHO PUT TOGETHER A GAME WINNING touchdown drive in the final five minutes, then held off a Texas State possession in the final minute for the 38-31 win on Senior Night in Moscow. In total Idaho put up 508 yards of offense while junior receiver DEON WATSON haulded in five passes for an efficient 124 yards (averaging 24.8 yards per catch) and two touchdowns on the afternoon.

THE IDAHO OFFENSE BURST ONTO THE JORDAN-HARE STADIUM stage with a 2-play, 75-yard scoring drive composed of a 71-yard Matt Linehan to CALLEN HIGHTOWER pass followed by Elijhaa Penny's 4-yard touchdown plunge. In all Idaho (3-8, 2-5 Sun Belt) put up 479 yards of total offense before falling 56-34 to the Auburn Tigers (6-5, 2-5 SEC). Up next Idaho hosts Texas State for Senior Night in Moscow.

UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO SENIOR TAILBACK ELIJHAA PENNY had another career game, his second in a row, as he rushed for 192 yards and scored two touchdowns on the ground, while adding another 58 yards receiving and scoring another touchdown for the Vandals. But it wouldn't be enough as UI built a 30-7 third quarter lead before giving up 42 points in the half to a winless NMSU team to lose 55-48 in OT.

WITH SATURDAY'S HOMECOMING VICTORY, the Vandals put together one of their most complete games of the season. They scored late in the 2nd quarter to take a 3-point lead into the half. After intermission the Vandal D gave up just three points, while DEON WATSON scored two touchdowns of 20+ yards and the Vandal offense took a knee at the ULM 2-yard line as time expired for the 27-13 victory.

THE VANDALS DISPATCHED TWO BIRDS with one stone last week when they knocked off Troy in Alabama. First, the biggest of them all, they registered their first road win since 2011. Second, they got their first FBS victory of the 2015 season. Saturday Idaho welcomes the University of Louisiana - Monroe to the Dome for a Homecoming matchup as Idaho looks for its first back-to-back wins since 2009.

EARLIER THIS WEEK IDAHO head football coach Paul Petrino said starting signal caller, sophomore MATT LINEHAN (10), who missed the Arkansas State, is expected to play Saturday on the road at Troy. Whether Linehan, or redshirt freshman JAKE LUTON (7) who started against Arkansas State, will get the start against the Trojans remains to be seen. Said Petrino: "Both are going to play."
