Gray looking to fill big shoes

The California football team added its second junior college player to its 2006 recruiting class as 6-1, 280 pound El Camino Junior College offensive guard/center Mark Gray submitted his letter of intent to attend Cal on Wednesday morning. Gray will provide sorely needed depth at the center position with the departure of All-American center Marvin Philip after this season.

Gray Wants Colorado to Come Calling Again

<a href="">Mark Gray</a> was scheduled to visit Colorado December 12th but his team went deep into the playoffs so he couldn't. He was then going to visit CU in early January until CU got a commitment from another offensive lineman that took the last OL spot the Colorado staff had. CU has not been in contact with Mark since then but that could all change in the coming days. Mark talks about where the Buffs currently stand with him.

Lineman Hopes to Decide Soon

<a href="">Mark Gray</a> is one of the top lineman in Southern California this year. He has two offers on the table and is expecting a few more shortly. Colorado is possibly one of them as the CU staff has been in heavy contact recently. Mark says his decision will most likely come down to Colorado, UCLA, and Boston College. SoCal Lineman Ready For Visit No. 1

No player has boosted his stock more with his play on the field this year than Los Angeles (Calif.) Venice defensive lineman Erick Lobos. The talented tackle will head to the Northwest this weekend for his first official visit of the year.
