Saturday's Pangos Dream Classic field loaded

The Pangos Dream Classic presented by PlyoCity will feature one of the country's top one-day fields this Saturday at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. The highlight game will match College Basketball News #1 team Akron (OH) St. Vincent-St. Mary's against #8 Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei. This game will televised live on ESPN2. The Dream Classic will also showcase five other top California teams and one of the East Coast's top squads.

Berkmar wins Red Cross-Rotary Roundball Classic

Lilburn (GA) Berkmar won the 10th annual Red Cross-Rotary Roundball Classic with 87-79 victory over the Los Angeles Loyola. Georgetown signee Matt Causey, the tournament MVP, scored 24 of 28 points in the second half as the Patriots improved to 10-1. Teammate Alex Weekes scored 17 points and earned the tournament's Most Outstanding Player award and Wynton Witherspoon added 18. Kansas signee Omar Wilkes led Loyola with 20 points and was named to the All-Tournament team.
