The Oregonian is reporting that Oregon defensive lineman, Austin Maloata was dismissed today by Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich. In a story published on oregonlive.com, the Oregonian story indicates Maloata was arrested by Eugene Police early Sunday morning a few hours after Oregon lost to Stanford, 52-27.

2016 Ducks Preview: The Defense (updated)

The Oregon defense in 2016 will be improved from the 2015 team. How could it not be?  The Ducks in 2015 were dead last in the Pac-12 Conference in two critical categories: scoring defense (37.5  ppg) and total defense (485.3 ypg)  but 2016 things have to be better.
