Mississippi State learned that they were headed to Charlotte, North Carolina for the Belk Bowl to take on the Wolfpack of NC State. Defensive line boss David Turner is very familiar with the area and the Wolfpack program after spending some time there as an assistant early in his coaching career. Turner spoke with the media about his thoughts heading into the contest.

The Mississippi State defensive line has taken some solid strides this season despite having to replace three starters. One newcomer who has harassed opposing quarterbacks is redshirt junior defensive end Will Coleman. This weekend Coleman will make the trip to his home state of Texas in hopes of helping the Bulldogs earn a win over the home standing Texas A&M Aggies.

One of the top priorities in the 2014 signing class for Mississippi State defensive line coach David Turner was to find an immediate impact player at defensive end. Turner found his man in Tyler Junior college edge rusher Will Coleman. Coleman signed with the Bulldogs in February, but so far has not made the move to Starkville.

A few eyebrows were raised when Will Coleman announced that he would be visiting Arizona State just a week removed from a trip to Mississippi State, Coleman's school of choice. Coleman has now wrapped up his visit to see the Sun Devils and he reports that his mind has not changed about his college future.
