Things got mighty interesting at Tuesday's football practice. The Cats decided to conclude things with a scrimmage. There were some big plays on both sides of the ball, as well as an announcement after practice.

Fall camp is just days away and there are a ton of storylines that will be followed. Some will be answered in camp, while others will have to wait until the start of the season. We'll take a position by position look at the stories we will be paying attention to. We start with quarterback.
Spring has sprung and spring football has come and gone. Some questions have been answered, while others have been raised. We take our first post spring look at the quarterbacks.
Arizona got some good news when quarterback Willie Tuitama was cleared for contact late last week. Even with that piece of information, the team was not ready to name a starter for Saturday's game against Washington State.

Barring a last second surprise, Kris Heavner will get the start Saturday against Oregon State. Monday night after practice he addressed the local Tucson media.

The Wildcats are just a few weeks out from the start training camp and some positions have already been decided. One such position is quarterback. For the fifth time in five years the Wildcats will begin the season with a different player starting than started the year before.
Spring football is a time to learn a little bit about your team, but that is all you learn, a little bit. It is tough to truly get a gauge on a team when it practices against itself for a month. Although we won't know how good the team will be until they take the field in September, we did learn a few things about the team. Today we look at the quarterbacks.
